A Lifetime Connected to Education

Lizbeth Renova's connection to Montebello Unified School District began as a student.

She attended Winter Garden Elementary and Montebello Intermediate before graduating from Montebello High School.

Her education continued at East Los Angeles College, where she earned three associate degrees, followed by a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Development and Family Studies from California State University, Long Beach.

Lizbeth also holds a California Director's Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Close to 20 Years in Education

Education has been at the center of Lizbeth’s career for nearly 20 years. As an educator, site supervisor, and Early Childhood Education Director, she has worked closely with students, families, educators, and administrators. Her experience has shown her that strong schools depend on supported teachers, quality programs and facilities, responsible leadership, and decisions that always put students first.

An Educator, Community Member & Mother

Lizbeth is also the mother of three Montebello Unified School District students.

For her, decisions made by the School Board are personal.
She approaches education from several perspectives: as an educator, an administrator, a member of the community, and a parent whose own children attend MUSD schools.
That experience is why Lizbeth is seeking to represent District 2 and help strengthen the schools and community that helped shape her own life.
